Marilee's Swedish Weaving Afghan

I finally finished Marilee's afghan and it was done in record time. It usually takes me a couple of months to finish one but I did this in about a month because I've been stuck in the house. Better to Swedish weave than to vegetate in front of the T.V.

The pattern is Jewel from the Diamond book and I used 3 shades of green plus a lovely rouge on ecru fabric.

  1. I love this pattern. Do you know how I can get it.

    Thanks, Peg

  2. It's in the "Diamond" booklet which is out of print but you can sometimes find these books used on Ebay or Amazon. I might be a little biased but I think the Diamond booklet is full of the best patterns you can have for Swedish weaving.

  4. Which Diamond book is it in? I have looked at the last two printed and cannot find it in either one.

  5. The booklet is called "Monk's Cloth Diamond Afghans" by Marilyn T. Magly. It was published in 2001 and I swear by it. You might find it on Ebay but some of these old issues are horribly expensive now. It's worth the search!
